Quick question, similar to new brake pads, how long should I expect for the clutch disc to start shaping up with the pressure plate surface?

July 27, 2012 at 11:00 am #460836You need to brake in the clutch by NOT driving it hard for at least 1,000 miles. Give yourself that amount of time. I’d probably keep it under 3,000 RPMs. In fact, the pedal adjustment for the clutch may need to be re-done after initial break-in._x000D_

July 27, 2012 at 11:00 am #460838I’ve never had issue with just driving it after a clutch replacement but I suppose it really depends on how you drive, the way I drive I don’t slip the clutch much.
