      The throttle body in my 2002 Ford Escape is getting sticky again. Last time this happened (about 2 years ago) I cleaned it using throttle body cleaner and a toothbrush, but it was a PITA to do. Could I soak it overnight in gasoline, or would that cause damage since it’s a plastic one?

        I wouldn’t suggest it.
        I would stick to the SOP for cleaning.
        It may be a PITA but paying for a replacement throttle body would seem to be worse.
