I have a 1997 Camry 4 cylinder automatic, made in Kentucky with rear disc brakes. The rear subframe was rusted badly, so I swapped it out. I pulled one with rear disc brakes from a v6 Camry 2001, also Kentucky made. Everything bolted up great. The only difference was in the parking brake cables, which I left off anyway.
Since I’ve done this, the car is prone to sliding on the front tires, the rear brakes work, but not very well. Rear raised up and me spinning a rear wheel and my gf pushing the brake pedal, the rears come to anfull stopped only with the pedal all the way down, slightly off and I can still spin the wheel by hand.
Is the proportional valve adjustable? Should I get a proportional valve out of a v6 in there? Something else I’m missing?
-WINTER IS COMING-
I don’t want to slide all over the place and have a wreck. Minnesota is not known for a lack of slippery surfaces in the winter.
