      #5 & #6 intake valve stems bent. no marks on pistons. possible causes?

          Redlining the engine (too high rpm), jumped timing, improper valve lubrication (sticking valves)….

            They were likely hit by the piston. As pointed out that could have been due to valve float at high rpm, or something got down in there and made contact.
