So I have been battling this wind noise in my drivers side window, near the b-pillar, half way up, for the LONGEST time.
New window channel rubber, the old was was all cut up and RTV’ed everywhere from the PO.
Well guess what?
I inspected the area throughout and found that the door had quite the sizable ding done to it right on the b-pillar.
I can see, also, that where it was ding’ed it was repainted in black. This is under the rubber / trim so it is hardly noticeable.
However the whole b-pillar is bent.

This causes the window to:
When it pushes all the way up and closes,
It will go outwards (away from car) at the bottom, this is because of a cheap aftermarket window regulator,
That will cause the window glass to pull away from the rubber only at the spot where the door was dented inwards.
And this causes a wind noise right next to my ear when driving over 45 mph.

My question to you guys: is it possible to fix this damage? The whole b-pillar is bent, this also causes the trim to not fit quite right and the door to vibrate when I open it (unlike all the other doors, which open perfectly) How would I fix it? Should I just go get a junkyard door?

I was thinking about posting pictures, sorry that I forgot.

Pic one, looking down onto the damage. On picture it does not look that severe, but the video will show how bad it is:

Vid one, showing the major issue, the video uploaded is 1080p if its not HD yet, wait a few seconds or so:

Key thing is: the b-pillar is bent at the bottom I am fairly certain, because the door, as I mention in the video, pushes open when you pull on the latch.
I think the door was hit at that depression on the b-pillar, and it bent the whole b-pillar as a result.
Also not very easily visible on video is the top of the door shakes back and forth on opening, and you can feel it on the handle.

Bump.
Don’t know if edit’s will notify you that I have uploaded the picture / video.

hi i looked at video and thanks for the trouble .
looks to me top door has small dent is a small repair
you can contact (PDR )paintless dent remover in your area.
i think they charge 30 to 50 dollars a dent.
i don’t see damage to frame or mold.
check how far door goes in might just need to adjust catch in centrepillar .
to me is big cost to replace door means painting in out and blending rear door and front guard or (fender)
also you will find the person PDR most time there panelbeaters or spraypainters just show them they will fix it for you cheap

Is it normal for the window to push out away from the interior when fully up?
I didn’t know that there were shops that just repaired dents. Will have to look into that.

just wind window down all the way put your knee on inside trim door pull frame gently
or put push frame out use block wood with rags between door frame and roof and slowly and gently
close door
