Just wondering if anyone has come across this problem. 2009 Lucerne blows the fuse for the passkey intermittently. IP, HVAC controls & VTD module on this circuit if I remember right. Only happens when air temp is very hot & the car has been parked outside. Hooked a short finder to the fuse panel & drive around with it. Only shorts out once in a great while & not for a very long time. Move wires under dash but can’t get it to short out. Unplugged connectors & checked as much wiring along the steering column but found nothing. My wife knows now that when the gauges quit working not to shut the car off until she makes it home ’cause it won’t crank with the fuse blown.
