Timing tensioner caused timing belt failure. I am aware of possible bent valves. One other suggestion in another topic said to use a scope to check each piston for contact. Once verified and replacement of any valves, how do I get it back in time to replace the belt. I’m assuming I just can’t move the cams and shaft into TDC and call it good. Any advice is much appreciated. Need to do the work myself for 1) Learning and 2) can’t dish out for major labor $$ but need to get vehicle back on the road.
