Hey Eric (if you are reading this 😉 )
I have been following you and your videos for awhile now, actually for more than 4 years, and you and Jason from Engineering Explained, have both taught me almost everything about cars and gave me courage to work on my own car…
Soo for starters I will just begin by saying huge: “Thanks!”I have been driving my 2003 Dacia Solenza (Romanian car you never heard of, but I love it…), and it started snowing, and it was late, and I was tired (probably main reason), and I decided to have some fun…
Found an empty parking lot and started “Drifting”…
I did pretty well right till the point i overestimated myself and hit a curb with my rear right wheel..
I felt horrible…
I walked outside, couldn’t see anything, beacause it was dark, so I drove home…
As I was driving I prayed that no suspension components are broken and that ony the rim is bent… As you probably can conclude, that wasn’t the case…
Next day I went to inspect what’s broken and the rear “bridge” (frame tube construction that carries the wheels (as I call it)) was bent…So my qouestion to you now is: How do I fix it?
Whats the best way to go, that the car feels the same, like nothing ever happened?
Is there a way to bend the frame tube back, or get a donor car and just transplant the bridge (by my estimate the mounts are intacked…)?Huge Thanks in advance
