broke off front wheel sensor on 2003 4 wheel Dr front pass side my daughter gave me a gift card and boy was it a gift in the end , I tried to replace a bad speed wheel sensor on my 03 pathfinder rt front wheel and broke it off so got half out and the other is still inside the hole so
I tried to drill the plastic around the magnet core and it still wont move , how much trouble is it to get at it from the other side by removing the rotor to drive it out with a drift punch or something? or is there another way??

The speed sensor reads off of the tone ring on the half shaft. to drive the broken sensor out of the hole from underneath you will need to remove the half shaft on that side in order to get to it. try needle nose vise grips and grab it from the top. also spray a liberal amount of pb blasters in the hole to help loosen it up.

i t5ied soaking it with spray kroll oil for three days , how ever the ring on my 6 bolt rotor
is on the back of the rotor when you pull the r rotor off its with it the sensor that broken off then can bee seen in side the backing plate well that’s what I have to remove and its like welded there.
Now that you have the rotor off can you try to drive it through from the side you were drilling at? Had a similar problem on a Toyota Tacoma front wheel-pulled the rotor and drove it through.
