I changed my brake pads (F/R side

I changed my F/R side brake pads. Worked fine for a couple days, then no braking action (no ABS light).

Changed the disc and complete calipar unit, proceeded to bleed and to my surprise, no fluid. (I did “pinched off” the flex line).

ANY IDEAS?

Dot 3 refers to a type of brake fluid. Maybe you got it confused with reading Braille dots. I have heard stories about blind mechanics but never thought about how they would tell the different fluid types apart. Anybody blind? or read in braille? does 3 dots mean Dot 3 and 4 dots mean Dot 4?

maybe a silly question, but do you know for sure you have a right side caliper. Is the bleeder at the highest point of the caliper?

Need a bit more info… Year and make of car and possibly more detail.

Brake fluid can leak through the back of the master cylinder without any noticeable drip (gets pulled in vacuum booster), but that is usually on a 15+ year old master cylinder.

yes, installed the correct calipar. since first post I verified the that the rear left hand calipar was working. It is working. (thinking a bad proportional value).

My next mission is to de-mate or loosen the flex line from the hard line and hope to get fluid. Then all I have to do is replaced the bad flex line.

If I do not get fluid, do you have any ideas?
