      To keep this simple….

I replaced the knuckle on passenger side of Neon. Gravity bled both front brakes and after doing this my brakes were spongy on and off so I took it into a shop (working third shift OT so no time to fix). Shop said the master was bad so I had them replace it. Picked it up after work and brakes acted up a bit on way home. Went to take it to work went down hill and brake peddle hit the floor and took awhile to stop (didn’t feel hardly ANY pressure). Hit my E-lights and was able to get it home in one piece w/o hitting anything (literally had brake pressed down all the way going down hill to park).

Called them up and waiting on phone call for them to send a wrecker to pick it up.

I’m thinking mechanic bled the system wrong. From what information I know some Dodges have a reputation for not having tight feeling brakes. Any thoughts?

If the brakes were working properly before the work was done, then no matter how many times bleeding has been attempted, there is air in the system somewhere. Is it ABS equipped? If so, was the ABS system bled also? Were all 4 wheels bled? Does the pedal firm up and get rock hard with the engine off or does it remain spongy feeling and/or still go to the floor?
