      Hello Eric: I have a 1996 Isuzu Hombre 2.2 114000 miles on it, runs good, however recently my inside brake peddle is making an air noise when I press on the brake and sometimes its hard to stop, when parking, can you please help? 🙁

        Are the brakes any different with the engine off or on?

        From what you describe it sounds like the brake booster has gone bad.

        With the engine running check for any vaccum leaks leading to the booster, if all is good then the booster is bad.
