      Hi guys.
I’m having an unusual brake pulsation throughout the entire car happening only at low speeds when applying heavier braking. Off the freeway coming to a stop at around 40mph it starts, then stops around 20mph. If cruising through town at 45mph, then apply heavier braking, it starts vibrating around 30mph then stops around 10mph. If I feather the pedal, it goes away. If I brake lightly to a stop through all MPH ranges, there’s no vibration.

I have new rotors with even pad deposits. Caliper pins and pistons are moving freely. Normal to hard braking is smooth as butter at high speeds. Healthy BJs, Control Arms, Tie Rod ends, CV joints. Sway bar bushings are fairly new, Rack is tight. Tires are new. I do however have a somewhat loose front passenger’s sway bar link (worn bearings) and I think the passenger’s side strut mount is messed up, albeit 2 years old. I hear a *clunk* when I go over speed bumps at very low speeds from what I think is that strut mount.

Could the somewhat loose sway bar link and bad strut mount be the culprits? Could one or the other more affect a vibration at slower speeds? Is there anything that comes to mind that I can further inspect? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: After driving and clocking the speed at all different stops, it seems to be the worse at EXACTLY 25mph. Entire car rattles. What gives?

A bad strut mount will throw the front end out of alignment and may clunk depending on the design and a loose sway bar will clunk over bumpy areas.
