Brake pin lubricant

Hey guys, I’m going to change the brake pads on my car soon, and as ETCG suggested on a video to use silicon paste on the caliper pins, I went in search for it. But I only found silicon spray lubricant and not paste itself. Because it was cheap and I can exchange it with no problems, I brought lithium paste to do the job. Coming home and doing a quick search I found out that it is bad for rubber components. So, this one is a no-no.

So my question is, is it okay to use the spray silicon lubricant on the pins or will it go dry quickly or isn’t thick enough? Or should I stop being a cheap bastard and order some paste off Amazon? ๐Ÿ˜›

Thank you for your time, cheers! ๐Ÿ™‚
