hey, i’m having a problem on my 1991 jeep yj 4.0l i parked it for 2 weeks brakes worked fine when i parked it. now my pedal goes down the jeep stops fine and the pedal is firm, not spongy… i did notice a lea at the passenger side front tire where the brake line goes into the rubber brake line, i fixed that but pedal still don’t come up.. i can lift the pedal with my foot it still functions fine… my question is what could be causing this?

      Thanks for any feedback.

It is possible that you still have air trapped in the lines. I would first try bleeding the brakes, and getting new fluid through the lines. If that doesn’t work it could well be your brake master cylinder failing. – I have seen this problem before caused by the internal return springs.

You may still have a problem with a leak somewhere. It could be a leak inside the master cylinder. That said, did you bleed the system after you repaired the issue in the right front? If not, you may want to do that and recheck for the problem.

          Keep us posted.
