Brake Pads help

So i changed out my rear brake pads on my 1999 Acura Integra due to my rear driver caliper being seized. So i changed out the caliper and the pads and about to change the pads on the other side. But i have a question. The brake pads have a noise squealer on one of the pads. So i am wondering does it matter which side the the little brake pad noise squealer goes on. Its the little metal flange that tells you when your brake pads need to be replaced. Currently i have the squealer part on the inside part of the rotors at the bottom. But from what i remember the squealer was on the top instead when i was taking off the old pads. I wouldn’t mind changing it, it’s just i have the tire back on and it’s cold here in Canada. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Squealer should go on the inside because thats where the cailiper piston is. but it really does not matter that much either way.

The squealer should be on the bottom and inside.
