Brake not working

I recently changed the rear brake pads and rotors on my 02 Dodge Stratus 2.7l. After everything I noticed that the left rear brake (driver side) wasn’t working. I came to this conclusion because rust has formed on the rotor and the pad should take it away when the brake pad rubs against it, however it’s been that way since installing them. The right rear is working.

What can I do to fix this?

      Thank you!

make sure the guide pins are not stuck and that the piston can be moved in its bore.

+1 you need to make sure that the caliper can operate properly. In fact, I’ve made a video on this very topic.

          This might also be useful.

You’ll also find additional information in this article I wrote.
