Brake Issues. Rotors?

Just about a month ago I had my brakes replaced. I was informed that I didn’t need new rotors, however I was suspect of this because I had some issues with chirping, like maybe I was experiencing a warped rotor(s). They milled the rotors and replaced the pads and I was sent on my way. However yesterday night driving home i noticed a very faint chirping sound like maybe belt or chirping brake. I didnt think too much of it but today as im driving around and come to a stop, I hear grinding. And at speeds 35+ mph I hear this chirping, and i confirmed its not my serpentine or idler pulley or tensioner because the sound is absent at idle and low speeds. I drive around town a lot so my brakes are important to me. Do you guys think maybe I need new rotors? Or maybe I was given some really cheap pads that just failed after several hard stops? Let me know what you guys think.

if your experiencing brake squeal.Its most likely
the pad material that was used.check the dust shield
is not bent and contacting the rotors.I would also
suggest you check the slides are lubricated with
silicone paste and do move freely.

They may not have greased the caliper and the BACK of the pad which can cause noise – use Copper grease or other approved “anti-squeal” compound

Thanks for the suggestions guys. It’s kind of odd because it comes intermittently and doesn’t usually occur when i first start driving the car in the mornings, it typically comes around more when I’ve been driving it for awhile THEN it begins to make the slight chirping sound, and sounds like a winding-down phonograph as i come to a stop. Thanks again for all of the suggestions.

I consider this to be a poor practice. In my experience if you use cheap pads they’ll make noise no matter what. The best way to solve this is to use quality pads. Putting anti squeal stuff on the backs of pads is a band aid that does little more than make a mess as it does not address the real issue which is the friction material used. Also, NEVER use grease to lubricate a caliper. Petroleum based products such as grease will destroy the rubber seals on the caliper as well as dry up and possibly cause the caliper slides to seize. The practices shown in this video are what I recommend when doing a brake job.

Turns out I was completely wrong about it being the front brakes, upon closer inspection by myself i came to the conclusion that it was an issue with one of the rear drums. When I would come to a stop they would make a grinding noise which sounded like the front discs and continue to squeak as previously mentioned. Turns out it was just an issue with one of the springs in the drum. Thanks again for all the help and suggestions, it is always much appreciated.
