Hi i have a 2000 grand am with a 3.4 in it. i had my calipers replaced with new brake pads and rotors because they were leaking and now there are clicking noises coming from the brakes. i can feel it on the pedal. but i took it apart and cleaned everything and lubed stuff up and they are still clicking. just wondering what this could be. thanks.

Are the abutment clips installed in the calipers. They hold the pads tight in the caliper brackets.

The #1 cause of brake noise after a brake job is the friction material itself. Not all brake pads are created equal. Some of the cheaper pads will make noise. The only fix may be to get a different brand of pads.
