So I decided it was time to buy a “beater” and take it easy on the newer car and not apply so many miles. So I searched good ol’ craigslist and found a 1994 Honda Civic EX.
Perfect car, cost me $600. Runs and drives (sometimes lol), owned the car for 4 days and this happens

What your looking at it the result of a 30+ yr old male, roaming my neighbor hood at 2 am, slashing people’s tires and vandalizing their property for fun, My car and 4 others were hit. He was arrested after being caught trying to vandalize the last car.
So now insurance came down and deemed the car a total loss. I’m kinda pissed, but I guess everything happens for a reason. I now have to bother my wife for rides back and forth to work once more !
Any input on how to recoupe some of my money lost ? Is it worth sewing someone ? I’d probably never see the money from them. Insurance is cutting me a check for $600 for the car
