hey ppl,
I got a Suzuki GSX-r 600 engine and I got a mad Idea and actually I’m half way to do it…..Boosting this engine.
I bought a Garret MGT12 turbocharger with internal waste gate ,made a new header ,designed a new intake manifold and about to buy Megasquirt module.
Unfortunately, It’s my first time to tune an engine so there some questions I want to ask:
1. What is the most important tests I should make to ensure the health of my engine after tuning?
2. How could I increase the boost without doing a big modifications on cylinder head and pistons?
3. Should I change my old fuel rail or I can just use a fuel regulator?
4. What is the best maintenance plan for the boosted engines generally?
5. What is the most important tests for the turbocharger and the lubrication system to insure the best performance?
I’m waiting for your replies with any other useful tips and tricks.
