      Hi Guys ,
wondering if anybody can help me out with this one . been having problems with battery since got the car in feb .finally got to the bottom of it. the positive lead going from battery to fuse s was loose ,this resulted in warning lights coming on and sometimes the car not starting (cant understand how the garage missed this when they fitted a new battery),during this time the airbag warning light came on , would a loose battery cause this to come on or do i have to change sensor underneath passenger seat or take it to bmw.The garage put the diagnostic on it and said it was no power getting to it but im a bit dubious now that they couldnt reset it and missed the loose cable the last time i was in .

      thanks ian

loose connections can do weird things. I would have the code read
to see what the computer is recognizing and go from there.

Loose connections and low system voltage can reek havoc in a vehicle like that. SRS systems are often proprietary and difficult to access without a factory scan tool. Your vehicle might be one of those vehicles. If that’s the case you’ll need to take it somewhere where they can access that system on your vehicle.

You might find the information here helpful as well.
