Too bad you’re not in Canada because there’s a special coverage on them. Very common problem. Check your plug on the resistor because a lot of times the connector will melt and you need to wire in a new harness pigtail along with the resistor.

You might consider checking the current draw on the blower motor. A worn and dragging blower is usually the cause of failed resistors, burnt connectors, and so on. Audibly, the blower may sound fine but it could be pulling a ton of amperage.

As Eric says, Here is the prize..

Here is bad resistor, You can see the corrosion

                    Here is the new one

Removed blower motor and inspected, Does turn hard, will replace that

                    Hope u enjoy the pictures

This is a recall on these,

If you suspect you have melted pig tail end and bad resistor due to moister build up…

Apon inspection of mine i removed blower motor and all was dry even up where resistor goes no signs of any moister, pigtail ends were good..

Resistor looked alot like many i have seen go bad

                      Thanks

                        Good point bud,

I did remove blower motor and you could feel the resistance when spinning, I will be replacing that

                        Thanks
