My turn signal does not blink when turned on. But does when hazards are on. Also is stuck on when headlights are turned on. What would cause this? Do you have a electrical diagram I could see? It’s a 1991 Chevy S10 4×4

          Here you go

I am going to lean towards a bad turn signal switch, but it is a good idea to test and check the wiring.

🙂 Also check your ground wires on your sockets. When you have the emergency flashers on, Do the bulbs all burn and look equally as bright ? Most times the rear sockets fail, but check your front ones also. Get a good quality 12 volt test probe, a good one at harbor freight is around 5 dollars on sale. You can use it too help you find your problem. Good Luck.

Good thinking slot, yeah those sockets can be a huge problem

pequenofreir, when you say the blinker does not work, do you mean the dash light or the actually turn bulbs?

They light on dash turns on but does not blink. The out side lights do same. Now when i turn hazards they dont flash just turn on.

🙂 It sounds like your turn signal flasher has failed, and you need to replace it. There are stock replacements and heavy duty types for use when towing a trailer. You will find it in your owner’s manual and it should be down by the firewall inside the truck on the drivers side. These items are just a piece of metal that moves between two contacts and they can get metal fatigue and stop working as what your description of your dash lights seem to indicate. Replace the flasher and see how it works. Good Luck.
