I’ve bled brakes a handful of times in the past, always properly. And that means never letting the master cylinder bleed dry. This time, however, I pumped one time too many and the petal went to the floor. Sure enough, the reservoir was empty. I cursed my negligence, refilled it, and continued pumping the petal until the petal came back up–then continued with the remainder of the job. Now there is a moment of vibration when I stomp on the brake petal where no such vibration occurred before. Anyone familiar with this? Does this mean I have to bench bleed the master cylinder?
