This is pretty urgent because Im told this will be expensive to repair. But some idiot locked the keys in the car and then tried to pry the door off a little to get a coat hanger in there. The frame is now bent all out and the paint and cosmetics panels are cracked. Its an 06 buick lecrosse cxs.

But yeah,it doesnt shut right and leaks pretty good. How can I bend it back? and how can I fix the cracks in the panels?

You may need doors from a salvage yard.

Replace the door or take it to a body shop. Without the right equipment, I don’t think you’ll ever get it right. Keep us posted.

Word from the big cheese himself lol hey eric! But I asked my instructor at my technical school about it and he said in a pinch; I can put a 2×4 in the door jam and just push the door to bend it back. Does that sound legit?

Actually that is the way they used to do it even at car factories. Just think carefully how you’re bending it since you shouldn’t bend back and forth.

what does work, but do it slowly. have the window down of course. pull the door open by the top corner then give it a swift shove. it doesn’t take much
