My Accord passed the 200’000 miles and the original belt still looks OK (no cracks).

I don’t have any problem of any kind with the car,

I know it is an easy job to replace the belt, but I believe the current belt is more stretched than the new one, and I think the new one would put more pressure on the pullyes and the tensioner.

the only thing I noticed is that the color of the belt is turning BROWN ( please see attached picture)

Any advice whether to replace it or just to buy a belt and keep it in the trunk along with a 14 mm long ratchet

      thanks

sorry , something happened for the picture, I’ll try to reload it.

          it is the serpentine belt.

If you see cracks or tears then I recommend you replace it. It is possible for the belt to brake and damage a pulley. I have some this happen a few times I might add.
