battery light.

looking for some ideas on what to check next. I have a 2012 ram 1500 with the battery light on. connections are tight and clean. i have checked battery voltage before and after driving with both times being mid 12s (12.4 before 12.7 after). I checked the alternator on cold start and after driving for 30 mins(14.3-14.4) first check was just with the truck running and after driving I turned in everything possible heater full blast, heated seats, dom lights, aux fog light, and aux back up lights. I really dont know why the light is on in the first place and having solid voltage I’m pretty confused.

Did you replace the alternator or battery lately? I have usually seen this happen with remanufactured alternator units.

Is the alternator light fully bright or is it dim?
