I own a 2005 Ford Taurus. The battery in the Taurus drains in a few days while sitting. I saw the video on parasitic drains and conducted the test on the Taurus. I had a reading of 0.66. I went thru the procedure as Eric mentioned on the video pulling out one fuse at a time. When I pulled one of the fuses, the reading dropped to 0.001. I reinserted the fuse and got a reading of 0.66. I again pulled the fuse and the reading dropped again to 0.001. I assume that the problem is in this fuse. I looked up the fuse and it is attached to “hazard lites, cluster power, ICP and EATC. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem myself? How do I go about checking it. ? I know what the hazard lites are and they work fine, but I don’t know what EATC or ICP mean. I assume cluster power refers to the lites or gauges on the cluster panel. Is this something I can fix myself or do I need to take it to a professional for repair.
