I’ve seen terminals close to that in auto parts stores. You would unbolt the
        fastener and replace the terminal.

From what I can see in your picture, I don’t think you need to change the terminal. Just disconnect the terminal from the battery and clean the terminal and battery post with a wire brush style of cleaning tool.

After everything is cleaned and reassembled, a light coating of terminal anti-corrosion compound should keep things happy for years to come.

I do recommend getting a proper battery hold-down clamp/bracket for your vehicle and ditching that bungee cord. You can probably pick one at a salvage yard for less than the price of a Starbucks coffee.

Unfortunately the terminal has to be replaced as the right terminal with the fuse connected wont stay tightened. It keeps frequently coming loose and disconnecting the battery.

Try changing the terminal clamping bolt and nut.

I agree – id replace the clamp nut and bolt first and see what happens. Is this the correct size battery for your car? I see the green bungie cord holding it down…I also see a bent penny around the terminal in attempt to tighten the clamp up…

That’s a penny? Damn, I thought that was corrosion.

i bet a new nut and bolt (hardware store like $0.20 cents) would probably fix it.
