Banging from left side of front end

I have a ’97 Chrysler LHS and recently had the front passenger side strut replaced by the shop. Ever since they replaced it when I turn left or right at low speeds I hear a banging noise coming from the side with the new strut. Just wondering what this noise could be and how I should go about fixing it.

in this situation, I suggest taking it back to the shop and asking them, since it should be under warantee, and they created the noise.

I have taken it back to the shop and they claim there is nothing wrong with it and it’s fine. I don’t want to bring it to them because they don’t always do the best work. This is why I want to try to fix it and any other repairs on the car.

Check the sway bar end links maybe.

jack up both the vehicle so both front tires are off the ground. turn the key to unlock the steering wheel. them physically grab the front tire and turn it from stop to stop as if your turning the steering wheel. feel and listen for what you described.
