      Usually if an 02 sensor is bad the car will run good cold and at wide open throttle only.

          Did I miss something because I don’t recall reading anywhere what the year make and model was._x000D_

          NEVER throw parts at something you don’t have evidence for unless you like spending money and putting parts on your car.

              have you checked mechanical timing? you may want to pull the_x000D_
              timing cover and check the timing marks.

                With a 98 if you don’t have a check engine light on for the O2 sensor the sensor is working fine besides I don’t remember an O2 sensor causing the symptom

                  well i did check the timing at the cam gears and they are lined up perfect with each other. i howe

                          Honda ECU’s and fuel pumps hardly ever go bad and when they do there’s usually some other cause, aftermarket distributors go bad all the time in fact just do a search this forum is full of them.

                              if a cat were dirty or clogged would it cause hesitation/power loss only when the car is warmed up or would it do it all the time?

                                It might do it more when it’s warmed up, it really depends on how badly it’s clogged.

                                    Well I unplugged the o2 sensor today after the car was doing its normal bucking/hesitating after warm up._x000D_

                                    Cant say yet whether or not it made a difference but im going to drive it for a few days with it unplugged to see any type of consistent change/im
