I have a 99 Nissan Maxima. Problem is when my car is at idle the headlights dim but when i rev the engine they brighten. also i have been losing power to accessories on the inside of the car like the radio, power windows and etc.. when i rev the engine everything works again. is this the sign of a bad alternator??

It does sound like a charging problem. To confirm the problem.
Have the alternator and battery load tested at an auto part store
for free.It may not be a charging system problem but rather an idle problem. Check the charging system using the videos above but also you might want to check your idle to make sure it’s in spec. If it’s too low then the alternator won’t spin fast enough and produce enough power to keep the accessories running.
