B20Z2 timing belt replacement cost estimate

I have a 2000 CR-V that is approaching 200,000 miles, so it’s time for a timing belt replacement.

I have bought Eric’s B-series belt replacement video, and I do have the tools to do the job myself, it’s just that I’m not sure if I have the time.

The car is also going to need the cam and crank seals replaced as well, as the exhaust cam has a fairly significant leak.

So, what’s a fair price on a timing belt, seals, water pump and check valve lash? I just don’t want to get taken to the cleaners if I decide not to tackle the job myself.

I don’t like to give an estimate depending on where you are in the country.
All I can recommend is call some shops and the dealer and compare apples
to apples on the jobs.
