      :unsure: hey Erik im new on here but not to your YouTube banana: I have a ongoing question how to change the disks on a 1992 hilux surf the same as a 4Runner and how hard is it? there not like the easy simple ones there bolted on behind the hub. it looks like a hard job to do. suggestion :stick: I really so wish Erik you could do a video for this type of set up PLEASES Help thanks

        To do a video the same vehicle needing the same service would have to show up at the shop and I would need to have time to shoot the video. That said I don’t know what set up you have on that vehicle if it’s just a slip on rotor or if it has the bearing assembly in it. I suppose an easy way to find out is to call and check with your parts person, easiest way I can think of without having to take the wheel off.

          yes you first have to remove the locked hub 6 nuts and cone washers then the outer bearings then you pull the disc off with the rest of the hub attached to the front if it then you have to undo 6 more bolts that attach the disc to the hub Basically it’s a nightmare probably :unsure: and yes unlikely you could do a video as because what are the chances. thanks for the reply anyway cool to here from you

            Yea those can be a challenge. If there’s enough left to the rotor you can actually have them machined on the car. BTW if you don’t have a brake pulsation it’s perfectly acceptable to just replace the pads.
