Personally, I use autozone alot because I get a big discount for being a firefighter. That being said, I think autozones biggest problem is their selection of parts. They usually have several versions of the same part, and some are way cheaper than others. The mentality alot of times is that the cheap part is good because it costs less, but you really should spend the extra money on the more expensive parts as they will last longer. I have also had good luck with NAPA and Advanced Auto. There is also a parts store where I live called Arnolds. Its a private business and I have had mixed success there. Generally, if it looks and feels cheep in the store, or has a horrible warranty, its shit. If there is an option to get a lifetime part, get it!

I like moog suspension parts. Delco suspension parts are junk. I don’t like autozone nor advanced. I shop at O’reily when I cant get OEM. I think NAPA brakes are junk, high priced, problems fitting, dusty, etc. I love delco brakes, put em on anything they’ll make um for. Some Napa stuff is ok too.

I will drive miles out of my way before I step foot in a NAPA, O’reilly, and god forbid a pep boys. None of these stores are cost efficient. I would spend a fortune on parts. then spend another fortune on wasting my time fixing the customers car again because the part failed.
              I will always go to
Autozone, they have never let me down. Excellent service at everyone I have gone to and Duralast is a exceptionally good company. I have had dinner with Mr.Rhodes a few times and enjoy hearing about the company every time.

I use the local NAPA, I get good deals and the guys that run it are out 4 wheeling on their off time. I have got things from them for free just because they know that I’ll be back to buy stuff.

delco for electrical, napa and car quest and orielly for most of what goes through this shop.
Sometimes the dealer is competitive with the parts houses.
I dont like auto zone and advanced-billing issues mostly sometimes they are a paperwork nightmare.
