Auto manufacturers moving for cheap labour

Hi Eric Just wanted to make a suggestion for your channel at ETCG1 and would love to hear your thoughts on automotive manufacturers closing plants and moving to countries like Mexico and China for cheap labour and the workers not being treated fairly overseas in China and down south in Mexico and some North American vehicles that are made there and exported are not being made with the same quality as ones made in the U.S.A or Canada

At work a customer came in with a Dodge truck that was only 5 years old and the driver side door was rusted out, the rest of the truck was fine. We did some calling around for him and found out that the rusted door was made in Mexico. The rest of the truck was U.S. or Canada.

Was the body or the frame of the truck rusted as well?

It’s difficult to call out specific countries as being worse than others when it comes to stuff like this as I don’t like to make generalizations like that. It is a good topic though and I think it’s worth covering in more detail at some point. Thanks for the suggestion.

I was not trying to generalize was only trying to use China and Mexico as examples
