Can anyone tell me what this is? Its sounds like its coming from the drivers side front. It is speed related.

My first though was a bad wheel bearing, but i just finished replacing the left wheel bearing 4 hours ago and i still have this damn noise.

Tires can make the same kind of noise a wheel bearing does. Did you check them ? Check for uneven wear and run your hand over the surface. The tire should feel smooth with no bumps or sharp edges on the threads.

Did you try jacking up the car and run it while off the ground ? That will sometimes help pinpoint the location. Have someone else at the steering wheel while you listen. Be careful though. A spinning wheel isn´t something you want to get caught in.

Notice the speed at which the noise is most audible. Jack up one wheel at a time and try to hit that speed. Do remember though, that if you jack up one wheel and the other is on the ground, due to the inner workings of your differential, the spinning wheel will be spinning with double the speed as your speedometer is showing.

Try doing a wheel rotation, see if the sound goes to the rear.

Also might be a cv drive shaft, do you have an ABS light on?

I’d also go on a short drive (like around the neighborhood) after the car is completely cold and then grab the axle shaft, feel if the suspected side is hotter than the other, the friction would have caused a lot of heat.
Also check the boots for rips/cracks, you’ll also notice grease flung around where it’s torn.

When the pulsing noise is present, do you feel anything unusual through the steering wheel? If you ride the brake pedal lightly, do you feel any pulsing through it? Does the noise go away when you apply brake pressure?

To me it sounds like tire noise, perhaps an uneven or broken belt, the tire being out of round, that sort of thing.

I rotated the tires to see if the tires were bad, still the same noise. I also replaced the cv shaft a few days ago because i thought that was the problem as the boot was ripped. Having a wheel spin sounds like a good idea. But would my rear tires kick in? My 97 crv has real time AWD. So if one front wheel was off the ground id worry the rear would kick in

Have you tried having your tires re-balanced?
I would first try to go to the shop you bought the tires from and ask them if they would re-balance your tires. Ask if they have Road Force Balancing equipment available. This equipment can help diagnose a tire or rim issue.

It weird because i cant feel it in the steering wheel or pedals, my abs light is on but thats because i intalled to speed sensor backwards and i can easily fix it. Only place i can feel it is the floor.
