G’day all!
I have just recently accepted a letter of offer for a Diesel Fitting Apprenticeship with a mining company in Australia i’m really excited for this as i’ve been sort of mulling over my career options since i finished school a number of years ago.
I’ve been working as a Trades Assistant in a vehicle processing workshop for the past 2 and a half years and would like to thank Eric for all your videos as they’ve been the topic of countless conversations and helped out in many situations as well as getting us through the somewhat more tedious days as well as inspiring myself to increase my mechanical knowledge ;).
Although i enjoy working on cars i currently own a 96 R33 Nissan Skyline Coupe RB25DET, i’ve always tried to challenge myself and go outside the box and thats when i decided to do a pre-apprenticeship short course (Ten Weeks) where six of the weeks where work-placement internships, I cannot recommend this enough for anyone to do if they’re thinking about following this career path!
(Also on a side note, where I was doing the internships one block at a service/repair workshop for a truck dealership and the other block at a small business truck service and repair workshop, at least one person knew about your Youtube channel! Talk about making an impression (Like you said in your last Video 200 thousand plus subscribers in one year!)
I will most likely be uploading a few things i’m doing to my car in the next couple of weeks after X-mas so watch closely for turbo-charged goodness!
