after heavy rain and flooding, airbag light went on. the car (kia rio 2006 manual tran) was just parked and storm flooded (overnight) the interior of the car (carpet soaked). i put the front of the car in jack stand the following morning and my parking lot is also uphill so it didnt really flooded the engine. the interior of the car was heavily moist. when the flood subsided ( around afternoon) a little bit, i took it off the jack and drove it a couple of feet uphill because some crazy people are still driving through the flood and rocking my car while its still in the jack. so, is there a DIY fix for airbag light? i already tried pulling the fuse and the negative battery. i also tried buckling the seatbelts on and off. car is still drivable without problems except the airbag light.
im at eastcoast and victim of hurricane Matthew.
