AIRBAG HELP !!! >> how to replace/fix

Hey I hit the side of my car and it had some damage but very little …. but the airbag sensor was hit so……. anywho….

My driver steering wheel airbag went off… and I got the airbag light on too….

so could i just buy a replacement airbag off eBay for 300$ and install it and have the airbag module sent in to be rest by those companies / or just buy a used one off ebay for 300$.?

Other than those 2 things I should be ok right? I don’t need a dealer level scan tool to pre-program the airbag system etc?

You’ll need to do a crash data reset on the Airbag ECU. There’s no way around it.
And many times it’s not easy. I do it often and around 60% of them I need to remove the memory chip from the board to be able to reset the memory.
