airbag 2003 chevy cavalier

i have a 2003 chevy cavalier and im replaceing the clock spring on it and when putting it back to gether i noticed a red wire where does it go?

That looks like an old fashioned horn button wire. There should be a little tab on that white sleeve, It should lock into a hole in the frame of the steering wheel. The white sleeve on the wire should have a little button tab on the end. The hole it plugs into should have a slot to accommodate the tab.

I can’t remember for sure, but I think they just called it a contact ring. Try an Autozone store. Look for their Dorman/Help line of stuff and it might be right on the shelf for you.

It’s called a turn signal cam autozone and o really has it. Thanks for the help got everything back together and it all works.
