Air hammer, short barrel vs. long barrel

i bought an ingersoll rand hammer with the quick release and i love it. i think i paid $80 with an extended 2 year warranty through northern tool. case and point: anyone whos worked with a 2nd dodge ram

i havnt notice much difference between the 2 if any. but if i had to say, the longer barrels would be the ones i would pick to have the most power. like i said the IR quick release gun is the most powerful i’ve used.

The long barrel air hammers tend to be more powerful, but there are times when you need the short barreled one.
