I’d hate to take the steam out another cool video, but Mighty Car Mods has pretty much mythbusted both topics.

Granted these are on modern Japanese cars with zero tuning to adjust for airflow and temp variables.

yes but in this videos they only talk about performance
my idea is to talk about air filters on daily driven cars
like the oiled ones how affects the map sensor
and the short ram air intakes can kill the engine with the heat from the engine bay
and cold air intakes with the hydrolock etc..
because many friends that have hondas.. ( my car is a honda btw)
tried to “modified” their cars to “run” faster and they cars are daily driven too
and suddenly they blow the head gasket or they’re having overheating problem..
i guess its because the short ram intakes that sucks hot air
thats the topic all about air filters on daily driven cars
oiled ones
pod filters
how they react with the engine in long-term 😉
