Air Conditioning Automatic Control or Manual Control what?

I was looking up a blower motor resistor for a 2001 jeep grand cherokee and came across auto controls or manual controls, could someone please tell me what they are referring to ?

Automatic control is the type of HVAC system that has a thermostat dial that you can select the desired temperature. After that it would automatically maintain the temperature that you have selected. Manual control is just the typical dial that you need to manually rotate to the heat or cool position.

My 04 Jeep is fully loaded but still has the manual controls which i prefer anyhow C8-)

The Climate Control system is like the A/C you will buy for your home.

You select the temp and tell it how fast to blow and that is it.

My civic Si has dual zone climate control so the passanger side can get full heat and the driver can get full cold.
