Air Conditioner Acting Up!!

My 2004 Honda Civic LX, with 464K on it, is acting up again.

It’s starting to sound like an expansion valve issue as it doesn’t sound like it’s regulating the pressure properly, you might also check the operation of the evaporator temperature sensor, you could have a problem with evaporator icing.

When the mechanic did the work. was the charge weighed in?
if not I would suggest recover the charge in there now. pull a
vacuum. weigh in the factory charge. this way the guess work
for the charge being right is gone. now focus can be put else where.
