I killed my air compressor cutting the torque converter in half. This is the video where I fix it.

I’m curious why you opted for an oil-less compressor.

figured i would stop by here and say that i really enjoy your video about the compressor. They seem relatively easy to work on. just remember you gotta let the thing rest some, same thing happened to my grandpas small compressor but i can tell now that it wasnt worth fixing. (rebuild vs replace)

Great video on the compressor repair. When you mentioned that swapping the white and black wire would make the morot run backwards. Since the compressor runs on A/C current, it shouldn’t matter. Whats important is that the black is usually the hot wire and the white is the return, e.g., in household wiring. Also, the owners manuals mays have an expolded view and detailed parts list to use as a guide. All the best.

In my experience those valves on the bottom of the tank fail and leak quite often. What i did was put an elbow in and some pipe with a ball valve on the end, this allows easier draining of water. Similar to what Eric did with the parts washer.
