air compressor question

I have a craftsman 33 gallon compressor and I was wondering why is it when I take or put the lug nuts on/off it seems that it strips/cross threads the bolts. I’m using craftsman air tools but I’m wondering what I’m doing wrong. Thanks

Wow. I believe you have confused a tool problem with an operator problem. You should start nuts and bolts by hand to avoid cross threading. To avoid stripping threads, set the impact gun to a lower maximum torque.

Yeah, you might have to lower the power on your tools. Also, start the lugs by hand first. Best thing to do is read your operators manual to geta better understanding of how to operate your tools properly
