Air bag codes?

So my 2005 Ford Freestar has been flashing an airbag code before the light comes on constant. However I only notice it happening after its already started flashing the code. Now the code it flashes means different things depending on the code. As its not happening all the time I am wondering if the code gets stored in the computer so I can have it scanned or not.

It should store any codes in the computer for the restraint system however most OBD2 code readers do not have this ability. you will need a scan tool that has this ability.
