My oil pan was good for a decade. Until I torqued too hard then chose to retrofit an oversized plug. And this is what finally works for me.
A copper or silver washer with the white thing. Line them up on the pan with no more than 40 ft-lbs and it’s golden. Still don’t know what the thin blue plastic washer with a tab is. It always comes in the kit. I’m on a second time reuse of my setup and it’s lasted with no leaks. The white one is the keeper for a third oil change, maybe.
